Question : What kind of carpet should I get for wheelchair use?
My carpet in the bedrooms and hallway is the original carpet (16 years old). it is a plush or cut pile. My husband is a quadriplegic in a motorized wheelchair. He is very tough on all types of floors. We have burber in the living room and dining room and it seems to wear well. I would like to try frieze. He tends to mash and twist the carpet, especially when turning into a doorway. Will the frieze mat down quickly?

go with laminate flooring.
Comes in a variety of colors and styles, is relative inexpensive, looks good and holds up well.
