Question : I have a question for senior men?
How many of you find senior women attractive and would ask one out on a date?
When I used to go out with my daughter, (admittingly beautiful, scouted by a model agency but wasnt interested) I am the invisable woman.
Men my age dont see me at all, I may as well be wallpaper. All my female friends say the same thing. I aint no dogs breakfast, my disability is invisible, I dont use mobility aids.
I see senior men everywhere with young things on their arms, often their granddaughters age.
Now guys do you really prefer someone decorative who is interested in what you can buy them, over someone you could carry on a conversation with and who is still attractive, active,compassionate, and intelligent, but not 20 anymore?
Do you feel you are sending a message to the world that you've still "got it" with a 20 year old GF? Is this your last hurrah?
I dont mean to insult anyone and if this isnt you, then PLEASE speak up. If it IS you, can you tell me whats up with that?

it is not me. Straight or Gay, the men I know prefer people their own age within 10-15 years, and I suppose that is all the same age. I feel no complusion to be embarrassed with I take off my clothes in front of someone, and I certainly would were they some sweet young thing...hell no...give me the wise ones who have been there and done that, have the scars to prove it. I certainly would not want anyone to think that I paid for an escort...and that is exactly what they would think....no thanks, I ain' t that bad a catch. And neither is anyone else. Only fools go for this kind of stuff....I am lucky, I have money...there is not a day that I don't have young gals throw themselves at me...and they are so damned obvious. I simply tell them they are younger than my kids...I don't think so. I also believe that any man who has to have some young thing hanging on his arm is not much of a man....his ego problems would not be something I would want to deal with. My brother is 2 years younger than I , dated the field with the young, the middle, and the older...he had his choices to make of all of them (he is rich, damned good looking, stays in shape, very athletic...he married a gal 2 years his senior! And they are happy as can be. He came to the same conclusions as I have...no thanks to the young things who know so little about life.

Question : how do I get my dog to be my guide dog?
I have a very, very, well mannered golden that instinctively has always helped me out. I have a chronic condition that make me unable to walk on my own with out a cane or some sort of aid. My dog is tall enough that he has always helped me out walking around the house in the garden, and up and down stairs, by letting me use his back for support. I am a very small person (90lbs) so I know that I am not stressing his joints, and I never use his help unless I absolutely need it. But I was wondering if it was possible to get him to officially be my mobility aid dog?? Is there such a thing? Do you need a licence in Canada?How would I go abouts doing this?
I love my dog very much and I don't know how he does it but he seems to know when I am in a fix and could use his help and he comes beside me and presses his side againt me and braces himself so I can use him, most of the time I never call him over he just is always there, and I have enver taught him to do this he just does it,..I don't know how to explain it, but do you know of other dogs like mine?....

I do have a friend from Toronto who trained her own service dog with the help of a private trainer. Then they went to the government and was tested to be certified.
The best bet is to find a trainer in the area who will work with you that is knowledgeable about service dogs. What you are describing is standard mobility skills, but I believe with the help of a trainer your dog could probably assist you in other ways. For example, if you have mobility/balance problems you might like assistance picking up your keys from the ground or calling for help if you do indeed fall. I know there are some programs who do help people train their own dogs in Canada. Since certification/registration is sometimes required working with a program would be a good option.
So take a look at the laws, contact your local ministry and look for a local trainer or program. Good luck!

Question : J2ME database?
i have to work with my final project (first aid application) which require me to use database in my mobile phone application using j2me (netbeans and mobility pack). so, wat is the best database i should use and how can i integrate j2me and embedded database in my application. it would work for me if u should give sample coding.. tq

If it is a flat file database (ie. non relational) like a telephone directory, then simply use a text file
