Questions & Answers
Question : is this essay about periodontal disease good so far?
Without proper care of the teeth and the gingiva, periodontal disease could easily take over anyone’s mouth and could possibly mean the end to the teeth. This serious disease can be prevented or treated at an early stage by simply brushing and flossing. Periodontal disease is an infection of the structures that surround the teeth. It begins with food debris and plaque not being brushed or flossed off and they turn into bacteria that worsens and leads to puffiness in the gingiva. Plaque must be taken off the teeth by brushing and flossing twice a day to prevent infection., but it only takes 24 hours for plaque to build up again. A few things that can lower your defenses, and help cause some form of periodontal disease, are: smoking, diabetes, stress, medicine, pregnancy, puberty, AIDS, HIV, cancer, and even diet, to name a few. Gingivitis is the first stage of periodontal disease. Most people do not find out they have this condition until a dentist advises them of it. Signs of gingivitis are: red gums, inflamed gums, bleeding while brushing and/or flossing, sensitive gums, possible bad breath, or bad taste. Gingivitis can easily be treated by brushing, flossing and using a mouth wash and no real pain is usually associated with gingivitis. After gingivitis is left untreated, it can turn into mild periodontitis, moderate periodontitis, and finally advanced periodontitis. Signs of these forms of periodontitis are: more pronounced bleeding, longer looking teeth, gum boils, abscesses, periodontal pockets, and mobility of the teeth. When these signs are reached After the age of 35, 3 out of 4 adults have some form of periodontal disease, which can lead to tooth loss.

Liberals run the media. Liberals are against republicans in each and every manner. Hence the war. Look at Vietnam. Nothing good was reported there and look what happened. Same thing is going on now.

Question : Presents for Disabled Daughter??
Within the last 6 mnths my Daughter has lost the power in both her arms, has had to start wearing hearing aids and has been registered as visually impaired due to nerve damage through-out her body! She has gone from being a "Normal" 6 yr old to being like a newborn baby! Has anyone got any ideas where there is a mobility shop or shop for kids with disabilities that I can buy things from for x-mas? this yr is going to be very hard as it is going to be so different from every other year. Any help would be much appreciated Thank You so much. And also if this has happened to anyone else before it would be nice to talk.

Answer:
Sorry to here about that and I do understand as I was the mom of a severly disabled daughter who lived life to the full for 25yrs. They have you over a barrel when it comes to special toys with the cost ect however having all those wonderful years of experience i can be of help. Social services in your area may have lending libraries for toys. School will have catalogues with equipment and toys in for you to look at and order on line yourself. If you have a gadget shop in your local big town they have many wonderful fiber optic lights. I brought my daughter a long rope light for £10 last year at Superdrug of all places. I brought a mirror ball in local market which we hooked up to the ceiling for only £20. I brought one of those dance lamps with different colours for £10 from Debhnams. Go into a big toy store and go to the baby section they do books that are in black and white. Visualy impaired need stimulation and black and white is exellent it encourages them to see what they are looking at and help them to focus more. I used to work as a play specialist so know a lot about stimulating children with special needs. Talk to her find a song she loves and sing it to her on regular basis so it is a song she feels comfy with and when upset it will calm her down. Mobiles are good and can be picked up from many places the living earth shops do really good ones for as cheap as £5 and some will have chimes on them. my daughter had a ceiling full and also you can buy from Sainsbury for £2 a small tin of stars that stick to ceiling or on walls and glow when getting dark. They will have them soon for christmas or living earth shops sell them but a bit more expensive. use different textures to stroke her arms, legs and face you will have many of these around your home wool, silk, plain old foil to scrunch up and feel is good, feathers are good. pound shop do bright pink feather bower a pound. To be honest it does not have to be expensive it is the time and what you do with her that is of value. I hope some of tht was of use to you remember it does not have to cost the earth things you can buy local and many use for decoration are just as good. I am here to talk if you want as i know your whole world has been tipped on its back and you are hearing to words that you are ust not used to at the moment. i have added you to my friends list and will answer anything you want ok.
